The One With LOLParker

This will really only make sense if you are a fan of LOLCats. Parker is so obsessed with my laptop, it's not funny! I walked into the room to find this the other day...and he had renamed my hard drive. I used a kit called He Geek by Lauren Grier and Shawna Clingerman.

The One With The Royally Stupid Move.

So first thing's first...here are my 365 photos from the last few days. Parker's pneumonia isn't getting much better so they've put him on an aerochamber (a baby inhaler) to see if that does better than the nebulizer. And, Naomi went into the doctor for what I thought was excema (it was excema, as well) but it turned out to be a rash from scarlett fever + strep throat! She wasn't acting sick at all though! She's doing fine! :)








So there are some of my recent layouts! About time I posted them! But guess what??? I saved over one of the large layouts. Only have a web version. How awful is that? I guess I'll be doing it again! I've been scrapping 3 years and it's never happened before!

It's grocery day here...the sitter will be here soon so we can scoot out of here and battle the crowds! TTFN!

Well this is hilarious to me...if you scroll back to Jan 1, you'll find my resolution was to drink MORE...lol...so good news that I'll be able to keep that resolution according to this quiz. I've had about 2 or 3 Venetian Sunsets this month so I'm doing great :) *giggles*

The One With The Winner!

The One With My 100th post!

So my old friends know that I love to blog...My old blog was open for a few years before I decided to shut it down and take a break from blogging. I created this new blog this summer and I'm happy to say this is my 100th post! In honor of that....

I could seriously use 100 buttons on a page, not that I plan on trying. I love buttons so much! Well maybe I will try. Hmmmmm. ;)

Here is the catch up from my 365 photos...I've been taking but not posting. Look at that ice here yesterday! And that is taken with my POINT AND SHOOT....and is STRAIGHT OFF THE CAMERA! Okay, I'll stop yelling now, but that really excited me! I'm also excited about our potty training success. Naomi's stack of diapers is still just as high as when I filled the cubbies the other day...she's only taking a diaper at bed!

The One With the Challenge!

So I had TWO of my blogger friends challenge me yesterday....and since there were two of them I figured I had better comply or I might get beat up! So here you go Tracy and Amy...

The challenge was to go into your photos folder, choose the sixth subfolder and sixth photo, then post it and write a description.

This photo actually has a backstory :) In May 2007, David won a vacation to San Francisco through his work, but we needed a significant amount of spending money to have fun in a city as pricey as that. I decided to go back to work for awhile. A few days after putting Naomi in daycare, they asked for a photo of her to put on the wall where all the kids' photos were, so I took her outside after work one day for a mini photo shoot on t3I ended up using, but this was number 6 :) Shortly after returning from San Francisco in August I stopped working...work + infant didn't feel right for me.

And here is my 365 photo for yesterday, though it's not all doctored up with frame and date and such like normal. Things have been a bit more nuts than usual the last 24 hours and there's no time. But little Parkerkins has pneumonia so here he is with his new nebulizer for breathing treatments. The albuterol made him a bit jittery at first and he played till almost 10 pm, which is of course a gross detour from our normal routine...so here at 9:30 a.m., the baby who is normall up at 6:30, is still sleeping peacefully next to me.

The One With The Big Reveal!

So the cat is out of the proverbial bag...my sister and I are now selling at Elemental Scraps...again! :) It's kind of fun to have come full circle...we sold at Elemental Scraps back in the day...and we have returned and are quite excited! The One About Cupcakes

So Sweet Shoppe wants to talk cupcakes huh?

Well my favorite kind is the most unhealthy kind I can find. Why have yummy goodness if not to go all out? I love these little ice cream cone cupcakes, but oddly enough, have never made them. Call me a nervous Nellie RE: my baking skills or lack thereof.

But there you have it. Anyone who wants to send me some.... it's PO Box 268....nah, just kidding ;)

The One With Two Things...

First thing....my sad little baby girl....we were playing in the snow and she fell down. Normally she wouldn't care but this time she didn't like it! So I give you my Project 365 photo :)

The One With Daisy The Doe

So I was browsing Etsy and found this adorable little shop that makes handmade children's clothing, and I ordered this little hedgehog shirt for Naomi. He is wool and felt and appliqued on...I fell in love with it because it's different!

It arrived yesterday and the seller had created little matching hair ties as a surprise! It was wonderful...so it is my day 21 photo :)
