So we had this hairbrained scheme to take everyone to the splash pad in town the other day. We loaded up 3 adults and 6 kids and hoped for the best! Well of Tabatha's kids the only one who really had fun was Tristan and of mine, the only one who had fun was Nathan. We were 2 and 4, but it was worth a shot!
We decided to just take Nathan and Tristan back next time!
I think the photos pretty much tell the story. I couldn't get any photos of Naomi or Parker in the water because they were too grumpy! But hey, at least I tried! :-)
Tomorrow we are going to Kentucky Splash with just Nathan. I told him yesterday and I'm pretty sure you could all hear him squeal...wherever you are! ;)
I'll be back on Friday with the full report ;)

Looks like a fun time and love all the lil touches you added to the photos ;)
Hope you all enjoy your next outing :)
Yeah, and if you don't take the other kids next time, they'll say but we had fun last time! LOL. Always happens!
Great photos. I find unless little kids are really into the spraying water in their faces, they don't really enjoy it much. I know my DD who's 4 doesn't like it. She'd rather spend time in the kiddie pool to stay cool. Hope Tristan has fun!
weeeee! looks like fun to me, although anything cold looks good at this point! dang sticky summer! ;) xo
Love the photos! Sounds like a fun place- maybe next time the other little ones will like it more!
Have fun! Little ones and water can be hard. My 2yo LOVES the bath tub. He's like a fish. He cries and cries when we take him out. But I got the boys a sprinkler for here at the house and he's afraid of it. He keeps saying "Momma, I scared." My 8yo loves it. We haven't ventured over to the post pool yet.
This looks really fun
